MLL Telecom will be exhibiting for the first time at The Emergency Services Show to showcase its comprehensive managed network service capabilities for emergency services and public safety. These encompass full fibre network upgrades and deployments as well as managed secure WAN, SDWAN, UC, Wi-Fi, Cloud Infrastructure and Firewall Security solutions.

MLL designs and manages reliable and secure networks for many UK public sector organisations including local government, blue light, and health. Recent contract successes include those at East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, Norfolk and Suffolk Police, and Nottinghamshire Police. These follow recent deployments at Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service where, as part of its managed network services remit, MLL is undertaking a technology refresh of the existing MPLS fibre network. This includes the provision of SDWAN based services to deliver increased network bandwidth, security and resilience.

Wide Area Network for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

MLL is also finalising the roll-out of a new WAN at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to transform communications for over 360 fire and rescue stations across Scotland, many in remote environments, while also providing the ability to transition to a cloud-based architecture over the coming years. The implementation includes a major SD-WAN, one of the largest in the UK. The larger fire stations and SFRS offices benefit from full fibre connectivity while those in more challenging rural locations will use a hybrid approach with a mixture of superfast 4G and DSL technologies.

Ross Billington, Strategic Client Director, MLL Telecom said, “The Emergency Services Show will be a very useful platform for showcasing our managed network services capability to the emergency services sector. With our own Network Operations Centre (NoC) and field engineering team, MLL is well-proven as a reliable network services partner capable of providing cost-effective, flexible and future-proof WAN solutions, underpinned by innovation, agility, technical expertise and excellent customer service.”
