College of Paramedics expands student membership access during National Apprenticeship Week

To mark this year’s National Apprenticeship Week which is running from 5-11 February, the College of Paramedics has announced that anyone on a paramedic apprenticeship will shortly be able to join the college via the student membership category, rather than the associate member category.

This means members will be paying less but receiving more benefits such as having the opportunity to stand in Student Council Elections, having access to the new app which will be launched at the College of Paramedics’ National Conference in May and later demonstrated at The Emergency Services Show on 18-19 September, as well as receiving Medical Malpractice and Public Liability insurance up to £5m.

“As the professional body for paramedics in the UK we have long recognised the benefit and opportunity apprenticeships bring. It’s the reason we have worked hard to ensure that we will soon be able to offer any paramedic in training, whether they are studying through apprenticeships or full-time education, all the benefits of our Student membership package.”
