Cumbria Fire Service selects FireWatch cloud software for business digital transformation

Infographics has announced Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) as its latest FRS client to select the FireWatch platform, to deliver a management suite and complete, connected picture of human resources and assets.

This move is part of Cumbria’s broader business transformation and digitisation initiative following its shift from the County Council to the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC).

The FireWatch project, a key step in the CFRS digital transformation programme, will enhance efficiency and effectiveness through modern technology and integrated solutions. The initial phase will focus on deploying modules for HR, health & safety, the mobile app, and payroll integration, with future phases covering additional areas.

FireWatch is a fire and rescue resource planning and management solution. It provides an integrated suite that supports SMT planning, HMICFRS reporting, actionable dashboards, human resources, time and attendance, operational availability, training and development, asset and fleet management and health & safety.

Cumbria’s transfer from the County Council to the PFCC allowed the service to review its current separate ‘on-premise’ solutions across various departments and areas.
