To mark National 999 Day yesterday, the National Emergency Services Museum launched a new collection, !nspire 999, to celebrate the inspiring individuals behind the uniform. And a co-response partnership between emergency services in Norfolk is being expanded.

It was National 999 Day yesterday, an annual event celebrating and remembering the heroic efforts of our emergency services. To coincide with the special day, the National Emergency Services Museum launched a new collection, !nspire 999, to celebrate the inspiring individuals behind the uniform. Co-response partnership between Norfolk’s emergency services expanded

A partnership between Norfolk’s ambulance and fire services which sees trained firefighters respond to medical emergencies is being expanded, with three more fire stations in Norfolk now equipped to assist the region’s ambulance service. More via Emergency Services Times

Over 190 new neighbourhood officers join the Met Police with record breaking diversity

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has teamed up with the charity Guide Dogs to help train puppies in their vital role of supporting people with sight loss. Firefighters recently collaborated with the Guide Dogs team to give the puppies valuable exposure to the sights, sounds, and experiences of the fire service. Commemorative events to mark 25th anniversary of Ladbroke Grove train crash

Two events will be held on Saturday 5 October 2024 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ladbroke Grove Train Crash in west London. The events will remember those who died, those who were injured and everyone else who was affected by the disaster. More via Emergency Services Times
