The power of collaboration cannot be overstated. In the fire and safety industry, the ability for brands to work together to enhance quality, efficiency, reliability and foster innovation is a win-win for everyone involved.

The IDEX Fire and Safety brands include well-known names like Godiva, Lukas, Vetter and AWG/Alco, which combine their expertise and advancements to produce some of the most trusted products in the industry. Their integrated solutions revolutionise customer experience, making fire and rescue services safer, faster and more efficient.

Comprehensive emergency solutions
  • VETTER specialises in pneumatic rescue and recovery equipment – pneumatic tents, lifting bags and novel industrial applications like magnetic leak sealer, Magnaseal.
  • LUKAS is renowned for their cutters, spreaders, combi tools, and telescopic rescue rams. Their smart e3 connect rescue tools offer enhanced operational readiness through early fault detection, optimised device management and reduced down-time, ensuring first responders are always equipped with fully functional tools.
  • AWG/ALCO offers a wide range of firefighting equipment, including nozzles, foam equipment, couplings, and mobile and stationary fire protection systems, designed to meet the needs of fire services and industrial users worldwide.
  • GODIVA produces a range of high-performance portable and vehicle-mounted pumps, including the innovative SAMFlows system, which enhances firefighting efficiency through advanced water and foam delivery solutions.
Elevating training and support

IDEX brands Vetter and Lukas collaborate on training programmes like ‘Crash Days’, held annually in Münster, Germany. These programmes ensure users are proficient in operating and maintaining their equipment, staying up to date with new technology developed by the brands. Participants attend lectures and practical tutorials from the Lukas Rescue League, practicing with tools in real crash scenarios.

For 2025, a ‘Fire Event’ is planned for fire and emergency services professionals, with educational seminars, practical demonstrations, hands-on training and more.

Boosting efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Collaboration among IDEX brands leads to increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. By sharing research and development resources, these brands reduce costs and accelerate new product development. This benefits both the companies and end-users, who gain access to equipment at competitive prices.

Driving innovation and quality

All co-brands under the IDEX Fire & Safety umbrella are authentic and care about people – the people they serve, work with, and employ. The connection with these people and what matters to them is at the heart of their innovations and solutions.

The brands believe in respect and commitment – working in a solution-oriented manner to find more efficient and effective ways to ensure customers and partners get the very best service and products possible.

Enhancing safety and reliability

Potential issues are dealt with quickly and easily, resulting in robust and dependable equipment, meaning responders are equipped with tools that can access, comprehend, and utilise mission-critical data; reducing response time and ensuring the safety and protection of lives and property.

IDEX Fire and Safety’s collaboration is more than a strategic alliance; it’s a promise to the brave individuals who risk everything to keep us safe – engineering the future of fire, for those who run towards danger.
