Standby Group appoints new Sales and Marketing Manager

Andrew Buxton, new Sales and Marketing Manager for Standby UK and Ireland.

The Standby Group has appointed Andrew Buxton as its new Sales and Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the emergency service industry, including roles with Mercedes-Benz, BMW Group, Cartwright Vehicle Conversions and Ricardo plc.

Announcing his appointment, Robert Blakemore, MD of Standby Group welcomed Andrew’s experience and success in the vehicle industry, adding: “We expect him to be instrumental in supporting our ambitious growth plans.”

Andrew said he was pleased to join Standby Group as it seeks to expand and introduces new technologies to increase the safety of blue light drivers. He said: “I have joined an employee focused business with a high emphasis on product quality and Technical/Aftersales support. It is extremely rewarding to continue to work with a customer group whose main purpose is to help all members of our society.”
