Ambulance chiefs seek views on priorities for next five years

The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) is seeking input from those working with or interested in NHS ambulance services to help shape its five-year priorities. It is asking for views on strategic goals and opportunities for collaboration that will help inform AACE’s future direction and strengthen support across the UK ambulance sector.

AACE represents all UK NHS ambulance services and seeks to speak, where possible, with one ambulance sector voice for the benefit of patients and the public, its people and partners.

To help form its plans for the future, AACE is asking three questions:

  • What should we be prioritising over the coming five years at a national level to realise our vision and contribute to wider system level improvement – for the benefit of our patients and the public?
  • Are our strategic ambitions still fit for purpose: to support our members (all UK NHS ambulance services) to become providers, employers, partners of choice?
  • Any other thoughts about how AACE can work better alongside and on behalf of the UK NHS ambulance sector and other partners and stakeholders?

The closing date for responses is 31 October – AACE asks that these are sent via email to: info@aace.org.uk.
