Markerstudy Group, one of the UK’s leading general insurance service providers, has announced a national charity partnership with Air Ambulances UK (AAUK), the organisation that champions and supports the lifesaving work of the UK’s 21 air ambulance charities.

The partnership aims to raise vital funds to support air ambulance missions across the country. Initial fundraising will focus on a range of colleague-led initiatives and events, designed to engage teams while raising awareness of the critical care provided by air ambulance services.

The UK’s 21 air ambulance charities deliver advanced pre-hospital care to people with life-threatening injuries or illnesses, with most missions funded almost entirely through public donations. Each mission costs an average of £4,165*, and the partnership will help ensure crews can continue to respond quickly and effectively nationwide.

Throughout the year, Markerstudy colleagues will be encouraged to take part in a variety of fundraising activities, supporting the lifesaving work of air ambulance charities serving their local communities.

Mark Heaven, Head of Corporate Fundraising at Air Ambulances UK, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Markerstudy Group as a national partner. Their commitment to supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities will make a real difference. The fundraising efforts of their staff will help keep critical care teams flying and ready to respond, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support.”

Lizzie Smith-Foreman, Chief Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer at Markerstudy Group, said: “We’re proud to partner with Air Ambulances UK and support the incredible work of the air ambulance charities. Their network attended over 8,400 road traffic accidents in 2024 and as a motor insurance provider, we constantly look at how we can support our customers and the sector as a whole. This partnership means we can help the network provide critical care to those who need it, and we’re looking forward to getting involved in fundraising activities and helping make a real difference to people across the UK.”
