UK manufacturer Peter Jones has made its first donation of £2,049.60 to Mind in Gwent, marking the start of an ongoing commitment to support mental health in the region.

The donation is part of a programme linked to the company’s Delta Range of carrying solutions, launched at The Emergency Services Show last year. For every item sold in the range, Peter Jones will contribute directly to Mind in Gwent, helping fund local mental health services.

The Delta Range provides lightweight, sustainable, and durable carrying options for emergency services, security personnel, industrial teams and other frontline workers. While designed for practical use in challenging environments, the range also forms part of the company’s wider effort to contribute to the wellbeing of local communities.

“The ethos behind the Delta range is that it should ‘Make a Difference’. We set out to make a product that was cost-effective and sustainable, and wanted to help the people in our community too. We’re delighted to make this donation to Mind in Gwent, especially as we know that this is the first of many.”

Andrew Griffiths, Head of Business Development at Peter Jones.

Mind in Gwent, formed through the merger of Newport Mind, Mind Monmouthshire, and Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind, provides support and advocacy for people facing mental health challenges across the region.

“We were delighted when Peter Jones and JC Moulding came to us last year with an idea to generate funds to support grassroots mental health in their community through sales of their new Delta Range. We have been blown away by the success of the product and the donations linked to it. On behalf of everyone at Mind in Gwent, I would like to thank the team at Peter Jones and JC Moulding for their ongoing support.”

Mike Walmsley, Head of Income Generation and Business Development at Mind in Gwent.

The Delta Range is produced by Peter Jones’ sister company, JC Moulding, which combines design, tooling, and injection moulding to create products that can be recycled at the end of their life.

The industry will once again be gathering at the NEC, Birmingham for The Emergency Services Show, co located with The Emergency Tech Show on 16-17 September, check out the full exhibitor list here. You can find Peter Jones on Stand R74.
