Caitlin Barr23 April 2026No Comments1 Min Read

Nominations have opened for the Control Room Awards 2026, which recognise the work of control room staff across the emergency services.

The awards focus on the role of call takers, dispatchers and wider teams, highlighting their contribution to incident response and day-to-day operations, often in high-pressure environments.

A range of categories are included this year, covering areas such as innovation, leadership, teamwork and individual performance. These include Control Room Call Taker of the Year, Dispatcher of the Year, Team of the Year and Lifetime Achievement, alongside awards for public service and community impact.

Nominations and attendance at the event are free, with organisers aiming to encourage broad participation from across the sector.

Further details, including category criteria, are available on the awards website.
