Each year, thousands of emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) professionals from across the world visit the Ambition event to source the latest equipment and attend the leading conference.
The event returns to London’s Olympia from 3-4 May 2017 with an exhibition of the latest products and services available to both category 1 and category 2 responders, attracting senior professionals across local police, fire and ambulance services, the NHS and Environment agencies to major energy, road, rail and airport networks and operators.
If you are tasked with preparing for or responding to emergency situations, then Ambition is an essential visit to see the equipment and services shaping your industry.
“The latest terror attacks in Europe, not forgetting the recent Ebola and Zika virus outbreaks, remind us of the importance of a global forum for all EPRR professionals, whereby thought-leaders can explore multi-agency frameworks, interoperability and establish common frames of reference,” says Event Manager, Sophie McKimm. “Ambition succeeds year on year in delivering a high-level exhibition and conference that focuses on the major challenges facing these communities today.”
Ambition is directly aligned with the National Resilience Capabilities Programme and the National Respond and Rescue Strategy, written by the Civil Contingencies Secretariat and supported by the Cabinet Office.
As in previous years, Ambition will bring together the policymakers, senior operational managers and industry professionals to focus on how multiple parties work successfully on an integrated emergency management plan in ‘major incident’ emergency scenarios.
At the heart of the exhibition sits the free-to-attend conference. Designed to educate all members of the EPRR community, the conference provides an in-depth review of resilience for major emergencies, including challenges for rural communities, urban fire prevention and preparedness and resilience in the face of marauding firearms attacks. Leading representatives from the NHS, ambulance and fire and rescue services, hospitals and police will present updates and case studies on how best to handle extremely challenging, mass casualty events.
Co-located with Security & Counter Terror Expo, Ambition offers visitors an opportunity to network and explore best practice among the wider community of security professionals.
