Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes FRS receives new ICU equipped by Excelerate

ExcelerateBuckinghamshire and Milton Keynes are the most recent fire and rescue service (FRS) to take advantage of Excelerate’s market leading command communications technology, which has been installed on-board their new Incident Command Unit.

Phill Mould, Station Manager, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes FRS, said, “Public and firefighter safety is at the top of our agenda. The on-board technology, will enable a fully resilient and effective communications infrastructure and will provide our incident command team and frontline firefighters greater tactical and strategic support to safely and effectively perform their roles by sharing critical information in real-time.”

Excelerate continues to be the technology supplier of choice to the emergency services, providing resilient communications solutions to a wide range of responders, including the Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART), West Midlands Fire Service and Wiltshire Police.

Excelerate has also been nominated as technology provider to four new satellite enabled mobile police stations now in development for Dyfed-Powys Police.
