Class Professional Publishing launches ParaPass app

Class Professional Publishing, exclusive publisher of the JRCALC Clinical Guidelines since 2013, has launched a new CPD app, ParaPass, which offers a new format of learning on the move.

The team at Class Professional has been working closely with app developers, Aimer Media, to expand its existing CPD resources, JRCALC:CPD and Standby CPD. The result of all this hard work is ParaPass; the app presents JRCALC:CPD and Standby CPD on one new and expansive platform. ParaPass also includes new tools and information to support paramedic learning and development.

ParaPass, with its new and refreshed app design, provides a wealth of quick, straightforward resources, including: access to hundreds of multiple choice quiz questions on the JRCALC Guidelines and paramedic practice, to help keep knowledge sharp. Quizzes cover the full breadth of paramedic practice, from vulnerable patient groups to obstetrics to trauma; quizzes are arranged/presented in multiple ways, including broken down by JRCALC guideline, to facilitate specialised learning; standby CPD: evidence-based discussions on a wealth of anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology topics; case studies on pre-hospital practice, covering a range of topics, including overdose, paediatrics, pain management, head injury and sepsis; and self-assessment questions, to support reflective practice

The app produces CPD certificates, so you can evidence your learning. It works offline so if you don’t have any signal it’s no problem, and it is also available as a website so you can learn at home or on station.

ParaPass is available via subscription for £3.99 a month or for the annual price of £39.99.
