Fully rugged tablet delivers seamless mobile performance

Getac has launched the next generation UX10-IP, a powerful fully rugged tablet built to thrive in the challenging, high pressure environments emergency medical services professionals operate in each day.

The UX10-IP features fully sealed buttons and an ergonomic design that makes frequent cleaning fast and simple. This supports infection prevention, offering further peace of mind to medical professionals and helping to minimise the spread of dangerous infectious diseases, including COVID-19.

With efficient data collection and sharing playing a critical role in effective emergency response, professionals need a digital device they can rely on to get the job done in all weather conditions, locations and scenarios. The next generation UX10-IP is designed with that purpose squarely in mind. Building on the success of Getac’s popular UX10, it delivers improved performance, storage, connectivity and rugged reliability in a stylish new chassis, all while retaining the same proven form factor design of its predecessor.

Key features include a 10th Gen Intel® Quad-core i5 or i7 processor and PCIe NVMe SSD storage technology, for up to six times faster speeds than SATA SSD. The latest Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 module ensures more stable and reliable connectivity in dense or congested environments. In addition, the UX10-IP boasts enhanced rugged protection, with MIL-STD-810H certification and drop resistance of up to 6ft while in tablet mode.

Rick Hwang, President of Rugged & Video Solutions Business Group at Getac, said, “With the next generation UX10-IP we have created a mobile solution that offers better productivity, safety and return on investment. For medical professionals, this means digitisation in a demanding work environment, where greater efficiency and having more tools at your fingertips can save lives.”
