HAIX launches revolutionary Black Eagle Safety 54

HAIX has launched its hotly anticipated Black Eagle Safety 54, evolving the popular Black Eagle Safety shoe range.

The Black Eagle Safety 54 prioritises comfort, stability, breathability and durability, creating a leading safety shoe, exceeding the EN ISO 20345:2011 safety standard and achieving S3 certification through exceptional safety features.

Flexible, lightweight and puncture resistant soles have a rubber anti-slip outsole suitable for different terrains, ensuring wearers are protected against hazards such as slips, trips or falls that could lead to more serious consequences. The midsole is a lightweight PU material, enhancing heel to toe support and excellent thermal insulation.

Protection is also achieved through composite toe caps made from fibre-reinforced materials providing certified protection for workers, particularly from injuries that could involve the toes and feet.

Other high-tech protective features include Electrostatic Discharge Protection (ESD). This ensures wearer protection when working in high risk atmospheres, where there is a risk of being exposed to electrostatic charge that could affect the safety of the working environment and some electronic devices. The ESD feature complies with the required EN 61340-4-3 2002 regulation.

While safety features are critical, the Black Eagle Safety 54 also encompasses comfort that could make a difference to the working day and wellbeing.

Maintaining foot health could ultimately support overall wellbeing. The three layer Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort laminate is waterproof and breathable, ensuring no water penetration, protecting wearers from wet feet and damaged shoes. Insoles are also comfortable, cushioned, moisture repellent and anti-bacterial, designed with ‘AIRFLOW’ channels, allowing air to be circulated around the shoe, maintaining comfort in different climates.

The Black Eagle Safety 54 also has the ability to reduce heating affects from the sun through a Sun Reflect treatment in the upper leather, keeping material and feet cooler. For wearers working outside, this could be critical for comfort.

Comfort and protection is provided in the new safety shoe but wearers must also ensure the right size and fit to completely benefit from the features.

Available to purchase in a mid and low style, from sizes 3-15 (including half sizes). Plus also the HAIX Vario Wide-fit System provides different insoles for wearers to adjust the fit, ensuring boots perfectly fit with the exact size.
