Information sharing: a state of the nation survey

The Centre of Excellence for Information Sharing is focused on finding ways to improve the sharing of information to enable better outcomes for service users – mainly in the public sector. It is launching an annual state of the nation survey for the public service to gather and track your thoughts, opinions and beliefs about information sharing annually.

The team wants to hear from a wide range of areas, from blue light services to education and everything in-between. The results will give the centre a better understanding of where the public sector is with regards to information sharing –Is it seen as a problem? Is more training needed to help services make better use of it? Are there examples of best practice, which can be exemplified? Does more work need to be done to look at cultural barriers?

The survey is designed to help the Centre of Excellence for Information Sharing check it is providing the right support to allow the public sector to utilise the opportunities that information sharing offers. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey before the closing date of Monday 6 November 2017 – you can find it here: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/infoshareuk
