IAM RoadSmart is the UK’s leading road safety charity. It has a community of over 72,000 members who have a range of driving skills and abilities. The charity is committed to supporting people with their driving and riding skills and relies on a host of volunteers to help it achieve its mission.

Advanced Courses for car and bike users, all the way through to modules that support people with parking, driving on country roads, managing distractions, and so much more are delivered by IAM RoadSmart. It supports everybody from new drivers, to experienced ones. From confident, to less so, and the charity would love to welcome you into its community, and give you a platform to share your knowledge as an experienced driver in your field – helping to make roads safer for everyone – whether you join Group support, or just share your stories and experiences with other likeminded people.

What does annual membership get you?

For just £39 a year, you will get the opportunity to join IAM RoadSmart without taking a test; the fact that you’re an experienced driver or rider is acknowledged and recognised in the membership entry.

Once you become a member, you will receive a range of benefits exclusive to the IAM RoadSmart member community, including the IAM RoadSmart magazine – full of hot topics, member stories and more. You will also get advanced notice for the charity’s events, including its incredibly popular Skills Days.
