Callum Faint has been appointed as Chief Fire and Rescue Officer of Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
Callum has been serving as Interim Chief Fire and Rescue Officer since September 2020, first joining Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service as Temporary Assistant Chief Fire Officer in July 2019. Prior to this, he served with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service for 24 years.
Callum said, “I am incredibly proud to be appointed as the Chief Fire and Rescue Officer. Working this position on an interim basis for the past eight months has been challenging, but incredibly rewarding.
“I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure we deliver a first-class service to the communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, working together to ensure Safer People, Safer Places.”
