Roll-up stretcher range shows strength and durability

The SLIX100 is a standard roll-up stretcher for various rescue applications.

The SLIX stretcher range by UK manufacturer Abtech Safety is one to rival the best in the market. It uses high grade materials for strength and durability, including stainless steel pass through webbing connectors for easy use and easy cleaning.

The SLIX100 is the most popular product in the range, being the standard roll-up stretcher for various rescue applications, including confined space, wind turbine, USAR, mountain and cave rescue teams. At 7kg the complete kit is supplied in a roll top bag and is easy and quick to set up for casualty transportation.

Additional stretchers in the range include: the SLIX100XL, a larger version with additional side supports for bariatric use; the SLIX50COM, an articulated version for super confined spaces, such as in petro-chemical plants or wind turbines; and the SLIXRR, a rapid deployment version with fewer straps and hardware for fast evacuation or for mass casualties. Head/Neck splints are available for all versions.

The SLIX50COM is an articulated version of the stretcher for super confined spaces.

The entire range features colour-coded lifting points, lifting strops and closure straps, which do not pass under the stretcher (for ease of dragging). Each version (except the RR) has a Working Load Limit of 400kg and can be used horizontally or vertically.

The SLIX range is being displayed at ESS2019 by Abtech’s partner-dealer Adventure Climb Rescue on Stand J64.
