Security & Policing 2020: take part in immersive experiences

The official UK Government global security event, Security and Policing, returns between 3-5 March, offering a world-class opportunity to meet, network and discuss the latest advances in delivering national security and resilience with UK suppliers, colleagues and Government officials.

Hosted by the Home Office’s Joint Security & Resilience Centre (JSaRC), the event brings together over 3000 visitors, including senior decision-makers and buyers from the UK and abroad, with over 300 exhibitors featuring a broad range of suppliers and service providers operating in the security and resilience market.

For 2020, JSaRC is once again hosting interactive, content-rich, immersive experiences for visitors and exhibitors to take part in at the show.

The ‘Plan. Travel. Visit. Your future secure journey’ feature will focus on showcasing and demonstrating solutions and technology that improve security around pre-journey planning, aviation and travel security and crowded places and infrastructure.

In addition, JSaRC is collaborating with the Home Office’s Serious Violence Unit and Accelerated Capability Environment to illustrate a blended, preventative approach to tackling Knife Crime. The ‘Knife Crime: A 21st Century Approach’ live feature will focus on showcasing and demonstrating solutions and technology across data, technology and community engagement.

With the UK’s National Security Strategy placing a strong emphasis on delivering a ‘joined up’ approach, Security and Policing 2020 also presents the ideal setting to develop closer working relationships and communications between government, policing, industry and academia.

The event also presents the ideal setting to truly learn about the innovations, policies and equipment available, bringing together operational needs with the solutions presented by large primes and hundreds of innovative SMEs.

A range of dedicated show features runs alongside the extensive exhibition, including a wide programme of keynote briefings led by senior UK Ministers and senior officials from government departments, dedicated government networking and showcase zones, and a new Fusion Forum filled with live industry challenges, keynotes and panel discussions.

You can register online for FREE to attend the event, which takes place from 3-5 March 2020, at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, Hampshire.
