Security & Policing 2020: where technology and innovation meet

The official UK Government global security event, Security and Policing, returns in 2020 from 3-5 March, offering a world-class opportunity to meet, network and discuss the latest advances in delivering national security and resilience with UK suppliers, colleagues and Government officials.

Hosted by the Home Office’s Joint Security & Resilience Centre (JSaRC), Security and Policing 2020 is a unique, annual event, incorporating an extensive exhibition, a host of keynote and thought leadership briefings, together with a range of immersive experiences.

With the UK’s National Security Strategy placing a strong emphasis on delivering a ‘joined up’ approach, Security and Policing 2020 also presents the ideal setting to develop closer working relationships and communications between government, policing, industry and academia.

The event attracts over 3000 visitors working in organisations including police, fire and ambulance services, government departments and agencies, criminal justice and border agencies, military, academia, major event security professionals and key operators and regulators of national infrastructure and crowded places

For March 2020, visitor access has been broadened to include those working in UK registered companies providing security solutions who are looking to network and learn by attending the event.

Bringing together decision makers and buyers from the UK and abroad, this official UK Government event is a key opportunity for suppliers and service providers operating in the security and resilience market.

Security and Policing provides an exciting backdrop to enable over 300 exhibitors to showcase their solutions and technologies in live settings, giving visitors the chance to access and test some of the most innovative solutions in the security and law enforcement sectors.

The event also presents the ideal setting to truly learn about the innovations, policies and equipment available, bringing together operational needs with the solutions presented by large primes and hundreds of innovative SMEs, providing a discreet environment to test and evaluate products and services.

A range of dedicated features runs alongside the extensive exhibition, including a wide programme of keynote briefings from senior officials from government departments, dedicated government zones and showcases, and a host of fully immersive features, including a visually stimulating mix of virtual reality, special effects and video displays addressing security and law enforcement challenges faced in the UK today.

A new feature for 2020, The Fusion Forum, will be an interactive and accessible ‘theatre’ on the exhibition floor, promoting new and integrated ways to delivering security solutions across government, industry and academia. It will incorporate a blend of keynote addresses, fusion panel sessions and live challenges.

Content in the Fusion Forum will be closely aligned with the aims and objectives of the UK’s Counter-Terrorism Strategy CONTEST, and will focus on exploring how Government, industry and academia can work together to disrupt threats earlier, share information more widely across government partners, build resilience with local communities, prioritise efforts better overseas, and provide a more integrated relationship with the private sector.

You can register online for FREE to attend the event, which takes place from 3-5 March 2020, at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, Hampshire.
