Rebecca Openshaw-Rowe, one half of the Antarctic Fire Angels, completed The Great World Race, running seven marathons in fire gear over seven continents in just one week.

Five years ago, Bex Openshaw-Rowe and George Gilbert were inspired by women in the military who had trekked to the Antarctic and made the decision to follow in their footsteps. In the following years, the ambition took over their lives as they became the Antarctic Fire Angels, proving to young women everywhere that anything is possible. They reached the Antarctic after 53 days of hard work, the toughest thing they had ever done.
