Havis, Inc offers a full line of universal tablet docking stations that provide simple, safe, and secure connectivity for Apple iPads. When paired with a Havis rugged case, these solutions give the end-user long term flexibility without a commitment to one device.
“Common mounting features of the rugged cases allow for multiple iPad models to connect to the same docking station,” said David Skiver, Product Manager for Connectivity at Havis. “When a fleet houses a mix of devices, the same dock can be used with a wide variety of cases. As devices are upgraded with the latest versions over time, the end-user only needs to invest in new cases, not the full solution.”
Available with charge only or charge and data options, the Havis DS-TAB-100 Universal Tablet Docks come with an integrated power supply to support numerous Apple devices in either portrait or landscape orientation. For iPads with lightning connectors, the DS-TAB-101 provides power to the tablet when docked, and it also features a pair of USB 2.0 ports to charge connected peripherals.
iPads with USB-C connectors, a second dock option is available. The DS-TAB-102 supports both charge and data and allows for a more robust and versatile set of peripherals as devices like keyboards, and various readers can be integrated. Additionally, the DS-TAB-102 provides inductive charging to the 2nd Generation Apple Pencil when stowed in the case.
The docks also feature a VESA 75-hole pattern for convenient mounting as integrated strain relieving to secure cable connections, so these products safely and securely put your iPad at your fingertips anywhere you want to go. Additionally, peace of mind is provided by a lock and key, and an LED power indicator light makes it easy to confirm that your device is powered up.
