The Bishop of London appointed as Ambassador for Air Ambulances UK

Air Ambulances UK has announced the appointment of Sarah Mullally DBE, the current Bishop of London, as Ambassador. In this role, Sarah will lend her support and influential voice to raise awareness of the positive impact of air ambulance charities have across the United Kingdom.

Before Sarah’s ordination as a bishop, she served as Chief Nursing Officer for England and was later ordained as a deacon in 2001. Sarah soon became a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2005 for her services to nursing and midwifery.
