On 9 September, the UK comes together to mark Emergency Services Day, also known as 999 Day – a national day recognising the work of the NHS and emergency services, and remembering those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
9 September marks National 999 Day, a day of celebration and remembrance dedicated to the heroic efforts of our emergency services and the launch of a new project from the National Emergency Services Museum celebrating the inspiring individuals behind the uniform.
