People with a learning disability and autistic people across the North East are set to receive more personalised and effective care after North East Ambulance Service reached a major milestone in specialist workforce training.

North East Ambulance Service has launched a sector-first, co-produced Learning Disability and Autism training programme, created in partnership with patients, carers, and advocacy groups across the region.
