West Yorkshire Police’s Chief Constable has been awarded a Knighthood in the King’s New Year Honours 2026. Sir John Robins was appointed chief in 2019 and is now one of the UK’s longest serving police leaders. He received the top honour in a list that includes a wide range of emergency services staff.
