The Police Industry Charter sets out the principles of how policing and industry work together to deliver high quality services to the public.

Sir Matthew Rycroft, Permanent Secretary at the Home Office, along with senior leaders from policing organisations including the National Police Chiefs’ Council, Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and Blue Light Commercial signed the charter, the first of its kind in the UK.

The charter has five principles that encourage a commitment to interoperability, transparency, professional development, sustainability as well as collaboration and partnership.

BlueLight Commercial in conjunction with police partners will manage and monitor the charter and are inviting suppliers to policing of all sizes, regardless of product or service, to sign it by visiting the Police Industry Charter website.

A list of all suppliers who are signatories can be found here..
