The National Police Chiefs’ Council is recognising the outstanding contributions of police staff and teams across UK law enforcement agencies by launching the inaugural Police Digital Awards.

The awards are an opportunity to highlight the work of police technology teams in delivering innovative, secure, effective and efficient police services. It is also a chance to increase the confidence of police staff that their contribution is recognised by national policing.

There are eight award categories spanning innovation, cyber security, frontline impact and value for money. Excellence in service delivery, leadership and promoting diversity in the workplace are all recognised along with an award to identify an “unsung digital hero’ who makes an significant contribution but often goes unnoticed.

Nominations are open until 31 May, with judging taking place in June and July. The judging panel includes representatives from the National Police Chiefs’ Council, Police Digital Service and TechUK, representing the supplier community.

Only UK based law enforcement agencies or Police Digital Service member organisations and their teams are eligible to submit nominations.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Police Digital Summit on 12 September.

For more information and to access the nomination form, visit the Police Digital Service website.
