Bristol Uniforms, an MSA Safety company, has announced a partnership with PGI Safety, making Bristol the exclusive supplier of PGI particulate blocking hoods in the UK.
PGI is a technology-driven personal protective apparel, designing and manufacturing innovative garments for firefighters, EMS, police, military and industrial professionals.
Using new tailoring methods and high-quality materials, PGI hoods offer comfort and performance.
The current PGI hoods that help to protect against firefighter exposure to airborne particulates on the fireground are:
- BarriAire Gold Elite Pro Comprehensive
- BarriAire Silver Elite Pro Comprehensive
Both styles will be available through Bristol as HOOD19 and HOOD20, respectively.
The full range of PGI hoods will be available through Bristol. Current orders for Bristol hoods will continue to be processed, and Bristol will continue to honour the existing maintenance and service agreements for these hoods.
