Northamptonshire Police has published a review of the vetting processes for Nick Adderley, the force’s former chief constable who was fired for gross misconduct after lying about his military record. Video calls to help treatment for stroke patients

People in Hull and parts of East Yorkshire thought to be having a stroke can now be assessed via video link.

Crews from Yorkshire Ambulance Service will be connected to stroke specialists at Hull Royal Infirmary on video calls rather than voice calls. More via BBC News

Guernsey seeks new Chief Fire Officer

Guernsey’s Fire and Rescue Service is looking for a “strategic and influential leader” to be the island’s new chief fire officer.
