Rise Every Day (RED) aims to make January a more energising month of the year at a time when people struggle with motivation and for 2025 the campaign is teaming up with Mind over Mountains to raise vital funds for its work with emergency service workers.

Mental health charity Mind Over Mountains is the official partner for the 2025 RED January campaign, helping to mark the 10th anniversary of the national movement to get people up and moving to boost their mood.

Founded in 2020 by adventurer, speaker and mental health advocate Alex Staniforth and Chris Spray, an international leadership consultant and trainer, Mind Over Mountains takes an innovative approach, which brings together walking in nature, mindfulness, professional coaching and counselling in support of good mental health and wellbeing.

The charity delivers residential retreats and wellbeing walks for people who are struggling with their mental health. It delivers commissioned programmes for emergency services as well as the general public. The College of Paramedics, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary are among blue light organisations who have commissioned the charity to provide services to their staff.

RED January is open to all and registration can be found on the RED January website with information about fundraising as well as the option to purchase a branded t shirt as shown in the photograph above.
