The Committee for Home Affairs has announced that Les Britzman has been appointed as the new Chief Fire Officer for Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service. And a helpline set up by a charity to provide ambulance staff with immediate and ongoing suicide and mental health crisis care has helped over 800 people in its first two years.
