The National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) has launched a specialist qualification to support fire and rescue services’ (FRS) engagement and interactions with children and young people. And the government has committed £2.65bn to build new flood defences and maintain/repair existing ones to protect more than 66,000 properties.
