The Chief Constable of Police Scotland has said the service is reviewing its recruitment plans as part of savings to cover potential additional National Insurance costs in 2025-26. And fire cadets are to be better supported and developed thanks to a newly signed agreement designed to provide them with better access to expertise and experience.
