Firefighting equipment manufacturer, Delta Fire has been recognised with two King’s Awards for Enterprise, one for Innovation and one for Sustainable Development. The company is one of only two UK businesses to receive two awards in 2025.

The awards, which are made on the recommendation of the Prime Minister and approved by His Majesty The King, acknowledge organisations demonstrating outstanding achievement in their respective categories.

Delta Fire, based in Norfolk, designs and manufactures fire nozzles and related equipment used across the UK and international markets. According to the company, the Innovation award reflects its approach to product development, while the Sustainable Development award highlights its efforts to reduce environmental impact, including operating from a net zero energy facility.

“We are absolutely thrilled to receive two King’s Awards for Enterprise. These honours are a fantastic recognition of the teamwork and dedication that has shaped Delta Fire over the past 35 years, from our humble beginnings in a small workshop to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility powered by net zero energy.”

Ian Gardner, Managing Director and Founder of Delta Fire.

The company employs a long-standing team, with several staff members marking over 25 years of service. Martin Addison, who joined as a trainee nearly 30 years ago and is now Technical Sales Support Manager, commented:

“I’m proud to support professional firefighters in the UK Fire and Rescue Services and other sectors. Being recognised with two King’s Awards is a tremendous honour for the entire Delta Fire team.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are presented annually and celebrate business excellence across four categories: Innovation, Sustainable Development, International Trade, and Promoting Opportunity.

The industry will once again be gathering at the NEC, Birmingham for The Emergency Services Show, co located with The Emergency Tech Show on 17-18 September, check out the full exhibitor list here. You can find Delta Fire in Hall 5, Stand F256.
