Female frontline workers invited to recharge and explore sustainability at new event

Specialist car discount provider Motorfinity has partnered with She’s Electric to launch EVOLVE HOUSE, a new event designed to reward the women who keep the nation moving with a day to recharge, connect and explore how sustainability could play a role in their lives.

Taking place on Sunday 28 September at Stubton Hall in Newark, the event will be hosted by BAFTA award-winning ex-Blue Peter presenter and personal development coach Katy Hill. Guests can choose from a morning or afternoon session, both offering wellness activities, inspiring talks, hands-on demonstrations and opportunities to network.

Alongside a range of lifestyle brands and panel discussions, Motorfinity will also be offering test drives of electric vehicles (EVs) from Audi, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Toyota and Lexus, giving frontline workers a chance to experience the technology first-hand. E-bikes from Riese & Müller will also be available to try out.

Rachel Ramsay, Marketing Director at Motorfinity, said the event is about giving back to the communities the company serves:

“Our community of NHS workers, armed forces personnel, social care experts, teachers and more give up so much of their time and energy to help the public through incredibly challenging times. This event is all about creating a space where they can meet others who share the same experiences.”

She added that frontline workers often face additional pressures outside of their jobs:

“It can be easy to run on autopilot and not have time to think about what you actually want, especially when considering lifestyle changes like switching to a more sustainable car. Our research found 17% of our frontline audience are already considering an EV. We hope this event helps grow that interest, while also showcasing other sustainable brands.”

Alongside the panel sessions, Katy Hill will deliver her signature ‘Limitless’ workshop, designed to help participants set boundaries, find joy in everyday life and thrive in challenging situations.

Guests can also visit a curated pop-up market, featuring jewellery, homeware and other lifestyle products, or take time out in a drop-in wellness room, with quick treatments designed to provide a reset.

Rebecca Day, CEO of She’s Electric, said the partnership is a personal one for her:

“I spent an extended period in hospital before and after my son was born, and the experience was made much more manageable thanks to the incredible people who looked after me. It made me realise how indebted we all are to NHS staff and frontline workers across the country. They take on huge emotional and mental loads every day, and deserve all the thanks and praise they can get.”

She said EVOLVE HOUSE is about recognising that dedication while offering something positive in return:

“I’m thrilled we can use our platform to support such a worthy community of people – the true heroes of the UK.”

EVOLVE HOUSE takes place at Stubton Hall, Newark on Sunday 28 September, where attendees can choose to attend the morning or afternoon session.
