Getac has unveiled the S510AD, a new AI-enabled rugged laptop designed to give frontline teams reliable, high-speed processing power wherever the job takes them, from incident scenes to command vehicles.

Powered by AMD Ryzen AI technology, the S510AD delivers strong on-device intelligence, allowing users to run data analysis, mapping and diagnostics directly on the device without needing constant cloud access. That capability can support real-time situational awareness, streamline reporting and keep critical data secure even in areas with limited connectivity.

The S510AD is built for demanding field environments. Its 15.6” sunlight-readable display, glove-friendly touchscreen, and optional dual hot-swappable batteries make it suitable for around-the-clock use in any weather. The device also supports WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional 4G/5G connectivity, ensuring reliable communication in fast-moving operations.

Like the rest of Getac’s rugged range, the S510AD meets MIL-STD-810H and IP53 standards, surviving drops, vibration and extreme temperatures from -29°C to 63°C. Over 45% of the chassis is made from post-consumer recycled materials, continuing the company’s push toward more sustainable manufacturing.

For police, fire, and ambulance teams, the S510AD’s AI-assisted features offer potential to speed up intelligence gathering and decision-making in the field. Real-time video analysis, mapping and diagnostics can all run on the device, helping responders assess situations faster and coordinate resources more effectively.

“The launch of the S510AD represents another important step in expanding our AI-Rugged portfolio. Built on AMD’s latest AI processing technology, it addresses customer demand for platform diversity while maintaining the rugged reliability and sustainability they expect from Getac, helping organisations accelerate AI adoption in the field.”

Amanda Ward, EMEA Senior Director of Technology & Services at Getac Technology Corporation.

The S510AD joins Getac’s growing AI-enabled ‘Copilot+’ portfolio, alongside the B360 Plus laptop, F120 tablet and next-generation UX10 tablet.
