Emergency Services Times is the proud official media partner for ALF2026, so we are highlighting that the UK’s flagship ambulance leadership event is fast approaching, with just 50 conference-only places still available.

Accommodation and dinner tickets have already sold out, so this is the final chance for delegates to attend the conference itself.

The Ambulance Leadership Forum (ALF), hosted by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE), take place 10-11 March and brings together senior leaders from across the NHS ambulance sector. It’s a space for discussion, collaboration, and debate on the current and future challenges facing ambulance services.

ALF2026 will explore sustainability, including:

  • Environmental responsibility
  • Financial resilience
  • Workforce wellbeing
  • Digital innovation
  • Cultural change to support patients and staff

The conference will feature a mix of keynotes, panels, and interactive sessions, with confirmed speakers including:

  • Professor Sir Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer
  • Lord Victor Adebowale CBE, Chair, NHS Confederation
  • Saffron Cordery, Conference Chair, formerly Deputy CEO NHS Providers

Planned sessions include:

  • CEOs’ panel on sustainable services
  • Spotlight on women in operational leadership
  • Innovation in Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest
  • Digital hackathon and case studies on health inequalities
  • Keynotes on the future of the NHS and ambulance services

What to expect as a delegate

  • Two full days of conference access
  • 300+ senior leaders from the UK and internationally
  • 60+ speakers and breakout sessions
  • Research abstract presentations
  • Exhibition space and networking opportunities
  • Lunch provided both days

Conference-only places are available for £325 + VAT.

If you work in, with, or alongside ambulance services, or have a professional interest in pre-hospital care, these final conference places offer an opportunity to engage directly with sector leaders and emerging ideas.
