Motorfinity savings for emergency services hit record £14.5m in 2025

Motorfinity reported a record year supporting UK emergency service workers, saving police officers, paramedics, firefighters and other frontline staff £14.5m on vehicles in 2025, up from £9m in 2024.

The Newark-based discount car provider, which works with emergency services alongside NHS staff, armed forces personnel and teachers, said demand from frontline responders drove its strongest growth yet. Customer enquiries rose 12.3% and sales increased 31.2%, as the company expanded customer-facing teams and improved its service for blue-light workers.

Motorfinity maintained 97 partnerships with organisations including regional police federations and continued charity collaborations supporting emergency responders. Over the past year it worked with PTSD999, which provides recovery and resilience programmes for emergency personnel suffering from post-traumatic stress. The company also renewed a pledge to donate £10 from every Blue Light Card customer car sale to the Blue Light Card Foundation, raising £6,000.

Chief executive Daniel Briggs said helping emergency services workers afford reliable vehicles remained central to the business. “Giving back to the UK’s frontline service workers is at the heart of Motorfinity’s core mission … helping more people save money on cars is the core metric we hold ourselves by,” he said.

Motorfinity also invested in electric vehicle education through its EV content hub, “evolve”, which helped increase EV purchases among eligible customers by 8% as more emergency workers considered lower-cost motoring options.

As the company approaches its tenth anniversary in 2026, Motorfinity said it plans to deepen partnerships with police and emergency organisations and expand support for the workers “who keep communities safe every day.”
