Hunter Apparel Solutions (Hunter) has been selected as a provider under a new national framework agreement awarded by BlueLight Commercial for the supply of insignia, gloves, and ancillary uniform products.

The award highlights Hunter’s continued dedication to supporting the UK’s emergency services and uniformed sectors with high-quality, resilient, and compliant products. As one of the appointed suppliers, the company will play a critical role in ensuring frontline personnel have access to uniform components designed to meet demanding operational requirements.

‘This significant achievement not only reflects the confidence placed in Hunter’s capabilities but also reaffirms our longstanding dedication to serving the uniform and blue light sectors,’ said the company. ‘We understand how critical it is for frontline personnel to be equipped with resilient, functional, and compliant uniform components… this framework aligns with our mission to deliver on those expectations.’

The framework has been structured to provide police services and other participating organisations with significant procurement advantages. These include legally compliant contracts, expert price negotiations, bulk purchasing benefits, and due diligence on suppliers. Collectively, these measures are expected to save time, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Beyond efficiency, the agreement places emphasis on sustainability and social value. Hunter has committed to supporting these goals while maintaining consistent product availability and customer service. Participating services will also benefit from a dedicated single point of contact for implementation, escalations, and ongoing improvements.

Hunter emphasised that securing a place on the framework is not only recognition of its quality and reliability but also an opportunity to deepen collaboration with police services nationwide. The company stated it would work closely with BlueLight Commercial and its stakeholders to ensure seamless supply and support.

‘This framework gives us the platform to contribute even more substantially to the effectiveness and safety of uniformed professionals across the nation,’ the company noted.

The industry will once again be gathering at the NEC, Birmingham for The Emergency Services Show, co located with The Emergency Tech Show on 17-18 September, check out the full exhibitor list here. You can find Hunter Apparel in Hall 5, Stand H170.
