Patient transport

As the North East Ambulance Services moves ahead with its sustainability plans, it is now trialling a new electric patient transport vehicle to boost its care for patients across the region.

Increasing patient comfort and preventing hypothermia during transit to healthcare settings are key to AK Med Tec’s heated mattress which fits all models of stretchers used by the ambulance service and other health care settings.
