Welsh audit body recommends yet another review of fire governance | Lancashire appoints new Chief Fire Officer

A report into governance of Wales’ three fire and rescue authorities says there has been little change since the Welsh Government published its fire reform white paper in 2018. And Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has appointed Jon Charters its next Chief Fire Officer.

Welsh audit body recommends yet another review of fire governance

Audit Wales has published a report into governance of the three fire and rescue authorities earlier this month and finds little change since the Welsh Government published its fire reform white paper in 2018 and says that another review should be done as well as strengthening existing training and development of authority members.
